I wanted to create a logo for my uncle that somehow incorporated a camera, was versatile, and, worked well as a watermark. I decided to create a symbol that would be seen as both an essential camera component, and the initials of the photographer (b and g). I ended up designing a simplified camera shutter that is also an overlapping of stylized letters b and g. Its vertical shape allows for different variations of the type, which allows for it to be used as a watermark, logo, and signage.
